Rebecca Lynn Rzepiejewski

BARABOO/PORTAGE  --  Truly a miracle from God, Rebecca Lynn Rzepiejewski was born, the oldest of 5 children, on December 18, 1983, and died on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at her home in Baraboo, with her Rat Terrier, Gsx-R, at her side to the end.   

Becky was born in Baraboo, the daughter of Jeffrey and Vickie (Wagner) Rzepiejewski.  She enjoyed reading all kinds of books, good conversation, and had a heart for helping people.  She had a smile that could instantly light up a room, such a kind and caring heart, and loved spending time with her family, especially her little cousins.  Becky graduated from Portage High School in 2002.  She attended both UW-M and MATC and was such an intelligent young woman.  She worked at the Brat House in Lake Delton for the past several years, where her co-workers became her second family.     

She is survived by her parents, Jeff and Vickie Rzepiejewski; her siblings, Nicci Rzepiejewski, of Pardeeville, Jenny Rzepiejewski, of Sun Prairie, Tim Rzepiejewski, of Portage, and Tyler Rzepiejewski, of Pardeeville, many other relatives, co-workers and friends, as well as her loyal companion, Gsx-R.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bill and Marge Wagner, and Ted and Eunice Rzepiejewski, and her aunt, Barb Paske. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at CrossPoint Assembly of God, in Portage, with Rev. Randy Mantik and Rev. Scott Schroeder, co-officiating.  Inurnment will be private in Oak Grove Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage, and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the church.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established by the family.
